Tommie Ray Cozart, Sr. of Spring, Tx passed peacefully at his home on Wednesday, January 5, 2022. He was born May 11, 1949 in Garrison, TX to the late Elton Howard Cozart, Sr. and Neta Ardett Lofton.
Tom is survived by his wife of 52 years, Joanne Wright Cozart, a son, Tommie Ray Cozart, Jr. and daughter, Kimberly Michelle Reynolds, her husband Isaac Reynolds, and three granddaughters, Nova Joanne Cozart, Hannah Elise Reynolds, and Jocelyn Grace Reynolds whom he lovingly called "Little J". He is also survived by his brothers, Elton Howard Cozart, Jr. and Mikel Lyn Cozart, multiple nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.
Tom drove for Central Freight Lines 33 years and served as a volunteer firefighter 27 years at Klein Volunteer Fire Station #34. To his fellow firefighters, he was known as "Graydog".
Tom had a great sense of humor and loved posting "funnies" on Facebook for his family and friends.
Tom was a devoted and loving husband, father, brother, co-worker, and friend. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
From his wife --- Thank you for choosing me as your partner and wife. You will always be forever in my heart. Someday we will walk hand in hand on the streets of gold together. Rest in peace with the angels.
