Todd Foster Shockley, died on September 18, 2021.  He was 63 years old.

Todd is survived by his wife of 34 years, Julie Van Lent Shockley.  His son, Mitchell Foster Shockley of Corpus Christi, TX, his parents Kenneth and Marilyn Shockley of Janesville, WI, and his brother Kenneth "John" Shockley of Broomfield, CO.  He is preceded in death by his brother Paul Shockley.

He was born and raised in Beloit where he loved playing basketball and football. He later attended the University of Wisconsin, Oshkosh where he continued playing basketball for four more years.   He received his dental degree from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. Upon graduation, Todd joined the Air Force where he was stationed in the Philippines and later Fort Worth, TX. When Julie was transferred to Houston for work, he made the decision to leave the Air Force and start a private practice in North West Houston.  After many years in private practice, he retired, moved out of Cypress, TX, and moved to Midtown in Downtown Houston.

Todd was never the loud and crazy guy in the room.  There wasn't a person he could not, or would not talk to.  He was a gentle giant with a huge giving heart.  Todd had a dry quick sense of humor and was always up to banter.  He was honest, trustworthy, generous, smart, dependable and very hard working.  He had a keen eye for design and enjoyed planning and designing the many remodels he orchestrated at both his homes in Cypress and the loft downtown.
