Todd Lindsey Shaunfield, age 47, escaped this mortal realm late in the evening on September 12, 2016 in Katy, Texas.

Todd was born on July 18 th , 1969, in Fort Worth, Texas to parents Wallace and Janet Shaunfield. Family and friends remember Todd as a silly and friendly guy from the earliest age. He never failed to spread joy, and a little mayhem, wherever he went and his big, distinct laugh could be heard a mile away. He loved to hear and tell jokes, especially short ones due to his limited attention span. There was always a light in his blue eyes that told you he was up to something, and it usually involved playing a trick on someone!

Todd was an active guy and enjoyed adventure. He made a career out of fitness, and loved a good game of racquetball or squash, for which he was also an instructor. He was a member of Champion Forest Baptist Church and he enjoyed spending time with family and friends, of which he had many, but most of all Todd was a devoted father.

Todd is survived by his precious daughter Taylor Lindsey, mother Janet (Robbins) Shaunfield, his father and stepmother Wallace and Freda Shaunfield, his older brother Scott Shaunfield and wife Sarah, loving friend Traci McCann, several counsins, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, and countless other family and friends.

A public memorial service will be held for family and friends at 4pm Friday, September 16, 2016 at Klein Funeral Home 1 6131 Champion Forest Drive, Klein, Texas 77379

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that any donations in honor of Todd be made to a scholarship fund benefitting his daughter, Taylor, whom Todd would proudly tell you is currently a freshman at Texas A&M University.
