Todd William Folse was born April 29, 1980 in Metairie Louisiana. He died at his home in Cypress, Texas on August 12, 2020 of natural causes, departing into the arms of his Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.
Todd grew up in initially in Gretna, Louisiana and later in Houston, Texas. He graduated high school from Palmyra Senior High School in Palmyra, Pennsylvania. After more than a decade pursuing a technical career servicing commercial office equipment with Canon Corporation, Todd elected to follow his entrepreneurial instincts and formed his own business, R-1 Logistics, a successful freight-carrying business based in Houston, serving markets in Texas and surrounding states. He was justifiably proud of this company he built from scratch.
Todd's ultimate measure of success extended far beyond successful business pursuits. He valued his relationships with family and friends above all else. It is undoubtedly for this quality that he will be forever remembered by those he leaves behind.

He is survived by family and friends, who though grieving, are thankful that Todd was part of their lives: his mother, Wanda G. Williams and husband J. Harold Williams (Fredericksburg, Tx); his father, William E. Folse (New Orleans, La); his sisters: Danielle Stephens (Houston, TX), Lindsay Kloehr and husband James Kloehr (Katy, Tx), and Taylor Clark and husband Brian Clark (Houston, Tx), as well as numerous nieces and nephews to whom he was "Uncle Todd" as well as cousins who were friends as well as relatives. Todd had numerous friends who called him the "brother they never had" and he will be remembered and missed by all of them.
In light of the current pandemic precautions, a private memorial service will be held limited to family members. Though Todd never suffered from Diabetes, he had a passion for the effort to eliminate this disease that affected more than one of his siblings. Those wishing to make a memorial contribution in his name may consider the American Diabetes Association or the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation or another charity of their choosing.
