Todd Harrison Buchanan, beloved son, brother, husband, and father passed away on Monday, June 6, 2016. Todd was born in Lubbock, Texas on November 5, 1971, the first child of Kay and George Buchanan. He attended Coronado High School and graduated in 1995 from Texas Tech University where he received a degree in advertising, and was a member of Theta Chi Fraternity. He remained a loyal Tech fan throughout his life.
He was married to his wife, Jennifer, for nineteen years and was a devoted father to his son and daughter. He worked as a successful account manager for Tyco, was an active member of Foundry Methodist Church, and he enjoyed singing in the church choir. Also, he loved golf and spending time with friends and family.
He is survived by his wife Jennifer, son Zachary, and daughter Haley; also his parents, Kay and George Buchanan, sister Nichelle Buchanan, and niece Aurora Buchanan all of Lubbock, Texas; his brother Ted Buchanan and wife Shelly, and nephews Braxton and Brayton Buchanan all of Hutto, Texas; mother and father-in-law, Joanie and Bill Teague, sister-in-law Julie Conkle and husband David, niece Celine Conkle and nephew Justin Conkle all of Houston; sister-in-law Jill Marks and husband Colin, niece Savannah Marks and nephew George Marks all of San Antonio, Texas; and also aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
A visitation will be held from 6-8 pm on Thursday, June 9, 2016 at the Klein Funeral Home, 9719 Wortham Blvd, Houston, Texas. The funeral service will be held Friday, June 10, 2016 at 10:00 am at Foundry United Methodist Church, 8350 Jones Road, Houston, Texas. A reception will follow the services on the church campus. Interment will be at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery, 12800 Westheimer, Houston, Texas.
