Tim Wetmore aka "Pops" went to be with the Lord on May 25, 2025 after a valiant battle with cancer. He was a wonderful father, devoted family man and music connoisseur. He was a dedicated Sales Associate for over 40 years with Boise Cascade and OfficeMax. He loved his alma mater the University of Texas Longhorns and cheering for his daughter, son-in-law and then his two grandsons as Bobcat athletes at Cy-Fair High School. He had a mean basketball hook shot, wicked frisbee skills, played a killer game of Bridge, sliced a powerful tennis serve and possessed the uncanny ability to win nearly every ping pong match with a 4 fingered grip.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 43 years, Robin Shelander Wetmore, brother Patrick Joseph, mother Ruth Frances Callahan and father Herb Wetmore and in-laws Eileen Shelander and John Shelander. He is survived by his devoted daughter Kara French and husband Rob, beloved grandsons Austin and Sam French, fiancée Donna Pryor, brothers Mike Wetmore and John Shelander, sisters Kathy Shelander, Robin Shelander, Eileen Krueger, Mary Frances Jeter, Katy Evans and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

As devoted Catholics, Tim and Robin were founding members of Christ the Redeemer Church. They were involved for many years in Sunday Collections, Religious Education and Engaged Encounter Ministries. In his later years, Tim found a "home away from home" with the Knights of Columbus. He was a proud 4th degree Knight and served on the Board of the Assembly and Council for 10 years. He later served as a weekly volunteer with Cypress Assistance Ministries and in the GriefShare Ministry.

The light of his life was his family. Pops was devoted to his wife, daughter, son-in-law and grandsons- never missing a game, awards ceremony or special event. He cheered with positivity and enthusiasm even under the toughest of circumstances. He wasn't just their number one fan in the stands; he believed in them and encouraged them in every aspect of their life. He brought joy, positivity, acceptance and kindness to every person he encountered.

As his beloved grandson Sammy French once said when he was just a 5-year-old in Kindergarten: "I love my Pops because he is fun."

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord and let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace.
