Timothy W. Richey, age 40, began his eternal life on Monday, July 27, 2020.

He was born on September 4, 1979 in Houston, TX and was the eldest of three children. He graduated from George Washington Carver High School.

Tim's love for music, movies, baseball, video games, concerts and the ocean were evident in just a two-minute conversation on any of those topics. All his passions combined paled in comparison to his ultimate passion which truly fulfilled his life - his children - son, James Richey and daughter, Madison Richey. He literally beamed when he looked at them. He was such a proud Daddy. His legacy lives on through them.

Tim's paternal instincts extended lovingly to his stepdaughters, Kourtney and Kylie. He is also survived by wife, Michelle Hammons, his parents, Darrell and Tina Richey; sister, Amanda Richey; brother, Alex Richey; sister-in-law, Virginia Richey; nieces, Aubrey and Noelle Richey and grandmother, Lillie Richey. He is also survived by his extended Hammons family, his godparents, Beatrice Flores and Roy Torres, his loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Nellie D. Torres and grandfather, William P. Richey with whom he had a special bond. Tim inherited their big loving heart, the gift of gab, they never met a stranger. He was very articulate and intelligent, yet humble.  Tim leaves a huge void to all who knew him and loved him.  He continues to live in our hearts and with every remembrance we honor his life.

Time lost can never be regained. Love everyone today so you regret nothing tomorrow.
