Timothy Jennings Reed went home to his Lord and Savior on April 1, 2024, at the age of 73.

Tim was born July 7, 1950, to Thomas and Maybell Reed in Houston, Texas.  He is survived by his wife of 43 years Tillie. Sons: Scott and Brian (wife), Jill. Grandchildren: Cody (wife), Jenna, Avery, and Brady Jennings. Great Grandchildren: Zoey and Wyatt. Sister: Kathy Gorman. He was "Suggy" to his Special Great Nieces: Shelbey Lawrence, Ashlynn, Danielle, and Addison Sisk.

Tim attended Milby High School and continued his education at the University of Houston earning a bachelor's degree. He worked for over twenty-five years for DHL Global Logistics before making a career change to his favorite position, working in the Oil and Gas Industry in Central and East Texas, as a Wellsite Construction Supervisor.

In 2016 Tim unexpectedly suffered a cardiac arrest and wasn't likely to survive. He spent a week in an induced coma to allow time for his body to heal. We prayed. I prayed and pleaded to my God to allow us to keep Tim a little longer. Those prayers were answered. My Tim lived for eight bonus years. He had no ill effects from the cardiac arrest, no memory loss and returned to working in Oil and Gas. Our grandchildren, that were babies at the time, had those bonus years to grow and know who their Pawpaw was and how much he loved all of us. Thank you, Jesus! His Cardiologist, Dr. Vincent Aquino nick named Tim, "the comeback kid". He enjoyed life and spending time with family, especially at Lake Livingston, Bolivar Peninsula and Galveston. He loved fishing with his family, and they fished for fresh water or salt water fish every chance they had. Tim was a lifelong Astros fan and rarely missed a game. He even got Tillie and her sister Betty hooked on watching the Astros every game. Tim will be truly missed but we are thankful that he's not sick and is no longer in pain.
