Timothy James Muchow passed away at home on November 11, 2021.  He was born in Houston, Texas on October 16, 1965 to James and Lavern Muchow.  Tim was raised in Waller, Texas where his family owned a cattle farm and hay business.  It was in this upbringing that Tim learned so many skills and traits that he carried and used throughout his life.  He was a skilled mechanic, a farmer, and an all-around handyman.  He could fix just about anything and used those skills to help others whenever he could.

As a child, Tim was active in 4H and FFA. He raised rabbits and steers, competed in rodeos and rode in trail rides with his family and friends.  During these years and these activities, he and his family met many friends and built strong, loving relationships that lasted throughout Tim's lifetime.

Tim loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman.  He grew up hunting with his Dad.  They shared a love for hunting which Tim passed on to his daughter.  Tim shared many hunting and fishing trips with family and friends throughout his life and made many cherished memories.  He was a great cook which he learned from his mom.  He loved cooking for others and would often show up with a big pot of his Grandma Viola's homemade chicken soup when family or friends were sick.  Tim and many of his friends competed in BBQ cookoffs and often won awards for their entries.

Tim graduated from Universal Technical Institute as an HVAC and refrigeration technician.  That education allowed him to run his own air conditioning and refrigeration business for many years. He also became a private investigator and worked in that field.

Tim loved his family and was a fierce protector of them.  He was a loving father and a loyal and devoted friend.  He will be remembered for his charming personality and sense of humor.

Tim was preceded in death by his father James Muchow, mother Lavern Muchow and sister baby girl Muchow.

Tim is survived by his daughter Ashley Muchow, sister Kathy Muchow-Henderson, nieces Tori and Brooke Henderson, uncle Charles Muchow and wife Melodye, cousins Chuck Muchow, Kenneth Muchow, Kevin Kerr, Kimberly Colon and Keith Kerr, his brothers by choice and their wives: Robert and Christina Caldarera and Damon and Amber Smart and lifelong friend Abel Delorea and wife Rosario.

The memorial service will be held December 3, 2021 at Klein Funeral Home at 9719 Wortham Blvd Houston, TX 77065. Visitation will begin at 12:00 PM and the memorial service will begin at 2:00 PM.

Honorary Pallbearers are Robert Caldarera, Damon Smart, Chuck Muchow, Kenneth Muchow, Charles Muchow, Charlie Cline, Chris Henderson and Abel Delorea.
