Obituary

Timothy Wilson McDaniel "Tim" of Cypress, Texas passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Jaunuary 3, 2020 at Willowbrook Methodist Hospital. He was 54 years old. Timothy was born on August 15th, 1965 in Snyder, Tx to Linda and Woodrow W McDaniel. Tim lived with his mom, dad, and aunt in Cypress, Tx.

Tim was born with spina bifida but that didn't seem to slow him down one bit. He was always up for a visit, a social function, or anything that allowed him to talk and visit with others. He was a very proud uncle and loved his nieces and nephews dearly. Tim was often the life of the party, with a witty comment loaded and ready to fire at a moment's notice. If you weren't careful, you might easily find yourself at the wrong end of one of his amusing remarks. Tim was an avid fan of WWE wrestling, the Houston Texans, and the Houston Astros. He met many of his sports heroes including Nolan Ryan. Tim graduated from the Dorothy Carlton Center in Cy-Fair Independent School District and was many times a medalist in the Special Olympics. He was very competitive and did not like taking home anything less than the gold.

Tim attended West Houston Church of Christ and was baptized and accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior in 1984. Tim truly was a gift from God to show us all that you can preach a better sermon with your life than your lips. Tim rarely displayed anything but true unconditional love. We rejoice in the thought of him walking in heaven.

Tim was preceded in death by his nephew Garrett L McDaniel of Cypress Tx, paternal grandparents Woodrow and Elaine McDaniel of Lovelady Tx, maternal grandparents Therman Pruett of Moody Tx and Ruby Scott of Houston Tx. He is survived by mother and father Linda and Woodrow McDaniel of Cypress Tx, his brother Anthony McDaniel and wife Robin of Cypress Tx, his brother Jeffrey McDaniel and wife Roxanna of Cypress Tx, his sister Ashlee Alexander of Cypress Tx, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
