Thomas Earl Williams, 62, of Houston, Texas, passed away at his home Wednesday, September 13, 2023.  He was born April 12, 1961, in Brawley, California to Alice and Cameron Williams and grew up in Mobile, Alabama.  Tom was a member of the class of 1979 at C.F. Vigor High School, where he enjoyed playing football.  After high school, he had a desire to serve his country and enlisted in the United States Navy and he was deployed to Japan as a trained medic.

After his years in the Navy, Tom had a long and successful career in the safety sector of the oil and gas industry.  Throughout his life he had a passion for everything related to the University of Alabama, and he derived immeasurable pleasure following all sports and activities of the Crimson Tide.  His University of Alabama shirts, his laughter, his stories, his humor, and his charismatic personality will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Alice and Cameron, and by his younger sister, Kim Lawson.  He is survived by his beloved wife, Allison Queen Williams, and Tom's younger brother, Rodney Williams and his wife Kelly.  He is also survived by his three sons, Paden and his wife, Jeanette; Colton and his wife, Alyssa; and Bryson and his wife, Sabrina.  Tom was also the proud grandfather of Christian, Sebastian, Noah, Chase, and Asher.

Tom's life will be celebrated at a memorial service for Allison and Tom's family and close friends on October 16, 2023, at 10:00 AM at Klein Funeral Home on Wortham Boulevard.  In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts can be made to Tom's favorite charity, American Cancer Association.
