Thomas W. Wilcox

Thomas was called home to our Lord September 25, 2022 after a hard fought battle with cancer. Even though we will miss him dearly we take comfort in knowing he is finally at peace.

Thomas loved his family whole heartedly and we will miss his great smile and that twinkle in his eyes when you knew he was up to mischief.

He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.

He is survived by his beloved and loving wife of 52 years, Janice Norwood Wilcox. Son Thomas W. Wilcox and wife Kim, and daughter Janalynn Goggans. Grandchildren, Justin Goggans and wife Sara, Joseph Goggans, Taylor Wilcox and wife Haley, Amber Goggans, Kaylin Largent and husband Christopher, Alec Goggans and wife Marlene, Autum Goggans, Christian Goggans and Morgan Wilcox. 8 great grandchildren and one on the way.

He is also survived by his brothers, Kenny Wilcox and wife Michelle and Keith Wilcox and wife Lisa.

Thomas is preceded in death by his father, Dewane E. Wilcox, mother, Lorene Wright and daughter Lori Wilcox.

The family thanks everyone for their many thoughts and prayers and all the support.

Not-How did he die? But-How did he live?

Not-What did he gain? But-What did he give?

These are the things that measure the worth

of a man as a man, regardless of his birth

Not-What was his station? But-Had he a heart?

And-How did he play this God given part?

Was he ever ready with a word of good cheer,

to bring back a smile, to banish a tear?

Not-What was his church? Nor-What was his creed?

But-Had he befriended those really in need?

Not-What did the obituary in the newspaper say?

But-How many were sorry when he passed away?

These are the things that measure the worth

of a man as a man, regardless of birth.
