Thomas Rex Sanders died on December 18, 2021, at his home in Tomball, Texas. Thomas was born on January 20, 1996, in Singapore. He moved to McKinney, Texas when he was a baby and then to Cypress, Texas where he spent the remainder of his childhood. Thomas was active in Boy Scouts, was a Master Lego Builder, and an aviation enthusiast. When he was a teenager, Thomas moved to Port of Spain, Trinidad. He graduated high school from The International School of Port of Spain in 2014. After high school, Thomas moved back to Cypress, Texas where he pursued his passion for airplanes and attended the Aviation Institute of Maintenance. He graduated with a certification in Aircraft Maintenance Technology. Thomas was a WWII history enthusiast. He spent many happy hours building scale models of vintage airplanes, helicopters, aircraft carriers, tanks, and ships. Thomas also enjoyed air soft guns and regularly played with a group of friends.

He is survived by his fiancé, Sarah Baker of Tomball, Texas, his parents, Robert and Terri Sanders of Cypress, Texas, and his brother Steven Sanders (Grace) of Dallas, Texas along with numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert and Sally Burgess and Rex and Mattie Lou Sanders, his great-uncle, David Burgess Jr, his uncles, Stephen Burgess and James Sanders, and cousin, Eric Sanders.

A visitation for Thomas will be held Friday, January 14, 2022, at 9 am at Klein Funeral Home, 1400 West Main, Tomball, TX 77375. Following the visitation there will be a funeral service at 10 am. After the service there will be a funeral procession to the graveside at Klein Memorial Park, 9714 FM 2920, Tomball, TX 77375. Please join the family for a gathering at Lupe Tortilla, 22465 TX-249, Houston, TX 77070 afterwards.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the following charities: Make a Wish Foundation or Society of Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
