Obituary

Our "Captain" has sailed away on to a new beautiful horizon, but he will never be far from the shores of our hearts.

Thomas G. Priest, Jr., 74, drifted off into eternal peace on February 1. 2017, after a long illness. He was born June 11, 1942 in Mount Holly, New Jersey to the late Thomas G. Priest and Helen Bernice Olson.

Tom is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Barbara Priest, his sister Marilyn Senior-Gartmann, his daughters Michele Schneider (John) and Lori Logan-Gavin (Tom) and son Owen Priest (Marisa). Tom was a proud grandfather to Matthew Logan, Brittany Schneider, Jessica Priest, Alyssa Gavin and Brenden Priest.

He is also survived by Kim Chavis and Scott Senior his niece and nephew and great-nephew Michael Chavis.

Thomas was the "anchor" and president of KCC Corrosion Control, Houston, TX. He had over fifty years in the coatings industry. He was a dedicated Businessman, husband, father, grandfather and friend. He was a graduate of Audubon High School, Goldy-Beacom School of Business and Baldwin-Wallace College, Berea, OH. Tom enjoyed boating and fishing in the Gulf and landscaping. He was an avid supporter of St. Jude Children's Hospital.

A memorial mass will be held at Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, Houston. A reception for family and friends will follow the services.

In Lieu of flowers, donations made be made in Tom's memory to the American Diabetes Research Foundation or the American Diabetes Association PO Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312.

Our family would like to express our sincere thanks for the wonderful help and care provided by the "Family Tree" and Houston Hospice in his final hours of life.
