Thomas H. Nelson, 84, of Hockley, Texas, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on Tuesday, January 24, 2023.  Tom was born in Osceola, Arkansas on November 26, 1938. He grew up in Sikeston, Missouri, where he married his high school sweetheart, Barbara. Tom was a member of Second Baptist Church. He retired at the age of 55 after a career in consumer product sales.

Tom was proceeded in death by his parents, Luke and Trudy Nelson; siblings, Louise Burger and Robert Carl Trussell; and wife of 52 years, Barbara Cole Nelson.

He is survived by his son David Nelson of Houston, TX; daughter Pamela Puckett (Mark) of Hockley, TX; daughter Julie McClintick (Rick) of Normal, IL; daughter Rebecca Bowers (Daniel) of Cypress, TX.

He treasured time with his grandchildren Michelle Bacot (Taylor), Stephen McClintick (Emily), Nathan McClintick (Megan), Megan Puckett, Kelly Cox (Anthony) Sara Nelson, Samuel Nelson, Brianna Bowers, Luke Bowers, and 13 great grandchildren.
