Thomas Moran was born in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania and spent his childhood and early adult years in South Florida.  He began his career at Pratt & Whitney following in his fathers footsteps and after a long career he retired from Wood Group Pratt & Whitney.  He met the love of his life, Mary,  and was married in 1976.  After starting a family his career in the Jet Engine business took off and he was able to travel the world for many years.  After moving around a bit he settled his family in Allen, Texas.  Anyone who ever met him liked him instantly.  His smile, charm, and incredible wit were captivating.  He was indeed a memorable person.  His beloved wife passed a couple years before him and he leaves behind three children who were and are honored to call him their father.  He was a devoted Papa to his grandchildren.  He loved cars, music, and most of all spending time with family.

His family includes his children, Sylvia Moran Elliston, Joseph Moran and James Moran; grandchildren, Marley Moran, Michael Moran, Madeline Elliston and Liam Moran; and siblings, James Moran, William Moran, Robert Moran, Richard Moran and Colleen Gaines.
