Thomas Larry Madison Sr.'s Obituary
On Friday, May 7, 2021, Thomas Larry Madison Sr., loving husband and father of five children, passed away at the age of 79.
Buddy, as he liked to be called, was a man with a wonderful sense of humor. He poked fun at every chance he got or cracked a joke. He had an amazing smile and laugh. His favorite pastimes were watching or yelling out at the Alabama Crimson Tides, Houston Astros, Houston Oilers (Titans) games, and throwing a line out to fish. You almost never caught him without a baseball cap and fishing pole.
Buddy loved his grandchildren more than anything. He cherished every moment he was able to spend time with them. It gave him great joy to see them laughing and playing.
He also had an great love for his puppies. He would just giggle as they ran around the house playing, then they would all curl up together for a nap afterward.
Buddy was a considerate and caring man. If there was a bad storm or situation in your neck of the woods, he would always give you a call to check on you. He never missed a beat to ensure his family was ok.
He dabbled a bit in cooking... and oh boy! did he make the best cornbread!!!.
His love of his life, Wanzie Madison, preceded him in death on April 25, 2018.
Buddy is survived by his 5 children, Carla, Thomas, Jason, Shellie, Beth; 11 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.
