Thomas "Joel" Fortenberry, 68, passed away on November 27, 2017.  He is preceded in death by his father: Texas Benjamin Fortenberry and brother: Gary Douglas Fortenberry.  Joel is survived by his loving wife: Rebekah (Becki) Ann Fortenberry, daughters: Krystal Michelle Russell and husband Ryan and Amber Dawn Barham and husband Aaron, son: Thomas Jason Fortenberry and wife Brienna, six grandchildren: Matthew Russel, Joshua Braham, Andrew Russell, Abigail Barham, Sadie Russell and a future grandchild due in February 2018, Jackson Texas Fortenberry.  The family will receive friends from 6:00-  7:00 p.m. with a funeral service at 7:00 p.m., Thursday November 30, 2017 at Dominion Church, 6400 Calder Drive, Dickinson, Texas 77539, 281-554-3600.  For those wishing donations could be made to the Dominion Church Building Fund.
