Theresea Kathryn Patterson-(Kathy) of Cypress, Texas passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on Monday, March 28, 2022, at her residence. She was born in Terre Haute, Indiana on May 18, 1947, to Byron W. Bollig and Kathryn M. Bollig (Gilmore). Kathy attended first through eighth grade at Saint Anne's School.

She married John Gilbert Patterson, the love of her life, on March 9, 1963 and they were married for more than 50 years.

Kathy is survived by her two sons, John Byron Patterson (Joy) and Steve Alan Patterson (Kelly); and a very special niece she considered her daughter, Bobbie Jo Patterson (Gary);  two grandsons, John E. Patterson (Casey) and Ryan M. Patterson; and one great-granddaughter, Harper Nicole.  Kathy also had a great-niece and great-nephews that she considered her grandchildren; London (niece), Ramante, Aswad, Kahlil and Kalib and a great-great niece, Leia. And more family and friends than can't be listed.

Kathy was preceded in death by her husband John Gilbert Patterson. Her parents, Byron W. Bollig, and Kathryn M. Bollig; Stepmother Lillian Ann Bollig; two stepsisters, Mary E. Knust and Betty J. Cutliff; three stepbrothers; James (Jimmy) Evitts, Kenneth R. Evitts, and Bud Evitts, of Terre Haute, Indiana.

She was a dedicated banker for more than 40 years. She worked for Wells Fargo Bank for 25 years, where she remained until her retirement in 2010. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.  Her favorite hobbies included cooking for her family, attending church, and playing Mexican Dominos with her best friends, aka the "Lala Sisters" of more than 40 years, Marlene, Doris, and Margaret.

Kathy was a remarkable wife, mother, aunt, mother-in-law, and Memaw.  She played an active role in all her children and grandchildren's lives.  She will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her.

The rosary will be prayed at 10:20 AM followed by mass at 11:00 AM on Friday, April 1, 2022, at Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church, 11507 Huffmeister Rd, Houston, TX 77065. A reception will be held at the Patterson residence following mass.  Kathy will be laid to rest next to her husband at Klein Memorial Park Cemetery.
