Theresa Lynn Richardson went home to our Heavenly Father on October 25, 2016, after a battle with lung cancer.  She was the heart of our family and a bright light that touched all who knew her and many who did not.  Her commitment to serving others drew her to volunteer at MD Anderson Cancer Center for over 19 years.  She loved life and lived it fully. She played tennis in several leagues, enjoyed lunches and outings with dear friends, was a member of the "Thursday Girls" (a volunteer group at MD Anderson known by many) and loved traveling around the US and abroad with her husband of 36 years, Randy.

Theresa's trip of a lifetime was an anniversary culinary trip to France in 2015 with her husband Randy. Annual family trips to Rosemary Beach were the highlight of every summer.  One of her great pleasures was cheering for her grandsons from the bleachers at their baseball and soccer games.  She was affectionately known as "Grammy" to her grandsons Reid, Sam, William, and Henry.  She looked forward each week to Sunday evening family dinner.   Theresa would prepare a gourmet meal, and gather the family around the table to share the week's events, laugh, and spend time together. Cooking and family were both passions of Theresa's. She also treasured evenings in her sunroom with her daughters, Tracie and Tori, sipping a glass of chardonnay while talking about kids, family and life. Theresa loved her sons-in-law, Ronnie Anderson and Kyle Walts, as her own. Watching her daughters build their lives with their husbands and children filled her with joy.

She is preceded in death by her mother and father, L.C. Webb and Agnes Webb, sister Wendy Webb, and brother Jack Osborn.

She is survived by husband, Randy Richardson; daughter and son-in-law, Tracie and Ronnie Anderson, daughter and son-in-law, Tori and Kyle Walts; grandsons, Reid Anderson, Sam Anderson, William Walts, Henry Walts; sister, Eldan Osborn and partner Debbie Winters; brother-in-law, Skip Richardson and wife Barbara; sister-in-law, Marti Pitsenbarger and husband Jeff; nephew, Brett Nelius; nieces, Trisha and Jenna Osborn, and numerous uncles, aunts, cousins and extended family members, and dear friends.

In keeping with Theresa's wishes, there will be no formal services held at this time. In the near future, we will honor Theresa with a celebration of life gathering.
