It was the first Sunday of the month in October on the 1st day at 4:58 pm that Theodore J. Naradovy, 65, of Spring, Texas, became absent from his body to be present with the Lord.

Ted was born on April 1, 1958, in Montebello, California. He moved to Terrebonne, Louisiana as a teenager. Shortly after graduating from Terrebonne High School, Ted enlisted in the US Marines Corps Reserves on January 30, 1976. On the same day, he was honorably discharged, he enlisted in the Army Reserves on December 02, 1980. He served in the Army until November 30, 1989.

Ted met the two loves of his life. The first was Dru Kwasny in 1978, in which he married in 1979. Ted and Dru started a family of their own shortly after, having two children; Christopher J. Naradovy and Bryan A. Naradovy.

After a divorce he meet his second love, Melissa Villarreal in 1995, and they were married shortly after in 1996. Again, the two of them started a family bringing into this world Randy J. Naradovy and his only princess, Cassy A. Naradovy.

Ted treasured his time with his granddaughters; Alexis R. Jacobi, Teagan F. Naradovy and Kerianne G Naradovy. He loved being their grandfather and spending as much time with them during the summer as possible.

Ted was passionate about his roles as Police Lieutenant and Honor Guard Commander for the METRO Police Department. Working for the department for 38 years.

Everyone who knew Ted knew how much he loved being a husband, father, grandfather, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin, police lieutenant, honor guard commander, Blue Santa, blood, and platelet donor, participating in charities and fundraisers, and volunteering in organizations.

Ted was preceded in death by Nelma Littleton, mother; Theodore Naradovy, father; Karen Naradovy, sister and is survived by Melissa A. Naradovy, wife; Randy J. Naradovy, son; Cassy A. Naradovy, daughter; Dru Naradovy, ex-wife; Christopher J. Naradovy, son; Bryan A. Naradovy, son; Stacy Naradovy, daughter-in-law; Alexis R. Jacobi, Teagan F. Naradovy and

Kerianne G. Naradovy, granddaughters; Laura Naradovy, sister; Jesus Ochoa, brother-in-law; Brandon Naradovy and family, nephew; Candace Dela Cruz and family; cousins, great-nieces and great-nephews; Gloria A. Villarreal, mother-in-law; Marisela Villarreal and Jessica A. Villarreal; sisters-in-law; and numerous friends and co-workers.

Ted will always be remembered for being kind, generous, dedicated, hardworking, efficient, proactive, resourceful, sympathetic, compassionate, considerate, chatty, cheerful, happy, and friendly. In the long run, if you could sum Ted up in one word, it would be selfless.

He leaves a huge void in the hearts of his family and friends who were entertained by his stories and hilarious sense of humor. He truly brought the life to the party.
