Terry was born on September 7, 1954 in Milton, FL (a place she often referred to as Dogpatch, USA). She was called by the Lord on May 7, 2018, quite unexpectedly.

She is survived by her loving family: her husband David, her daughter and son-in-law Lisa and Mark Sass, stepsons Daniel and Matthew (and his wife Michele) Willey, and stepdaughter Jessica (and her husband Ross) Bartley.

She is also survived by six beautiful grandchildren; Blake Sass, Charlie Bartley, Bryn Bartley, Ashton Willey, Bobbie Ann Bartley, and Austin Willey. Terry truly loved all the grandchildren and cherished every moment she spent with them; there just weren't enough of them. She will miss these times together with them and the ones taken away from her due to her untimely death. They will too.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Ora Lewis, and her two older brothers, Larry and David.

Terry and David loved to travel and she had a special love for Alaska and Hawaii. She also loved the beauty of Scotland and Australia and they were looking forward to future travels together in retirement. Terry loved animals and all causes that made the world a better place for any and all animals. She was a member of the Houston SPCA, the Pacific Whale Foundation, the World Wildlife Fund, and the Marine Mammal Center as well as many local organizations. The menagerie at home which is comprised of Whitney, Snickers, Cooey, Chandler, Cricket, Jiminy, Marbella and Calypso will also miss her.

Most recently, Terry took a fond interest in antique glass collecting. She would do anything to help someone or anything, often paying for groceries for someone she felt needed a special lift at the moment. Of great pride is Terry's accomplishment of being the first in her family to graduate with a college degree.

She was a truly wonderful person. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers.
