Terry was born on August 30,1951 in Dallas, Texas to Herman Brandon and Sarah Ott .  As a young boy, he enjoyed the great outdoors hunting and fishing which carried on thr oughout his life. As a teenager, he attended Trinity High School playing baseball and football.  He loved rebuilding old muscle cars and listening to country music.  He joined the US Navy in 1972 traveling to various parts of the world. By trade, Terry was a contractor, a millwright, and a refinery worker in Corpus Christi, Texas.  He worked hard all his life and often said that, "A job worth doing is worth doing well."  He took pride in his work.  As Hobbies, he loved welding, watching NASCAR, Hunting and fishing, spending time with his family and friends.  The best times were always spen t around a campfire telling stories and drinking a cold one.  He doted on his grandchildren and passed on many traditions to them.  The Love of his life was Maria Brandon.  For 37 years , they never left each other's side.  Through good times and hard times, he was a devoted husband.  As a father, his love was unconditional. He was our protector, our rock and guided us through life.  His fun, adventurous, high- spirited nature attracted so many to him.  As a friend, he was loyal, dependable, honest and trustworthy. He always made you feel welcomed.

We forever will see you hunting white-wing dove in the sunflower fields on the Tex as/Mexico border, we'll see you hunting Qua il on the South Texas Ranch, we'll see you surf fishing o n Malaquite Beach, and we'll see you deep sea fishing in the Gulf of Mexico.

They don't make men like him anymore full of integrity, compassion, and above all True Grit.  He never let anything or anyone beat him in life.  His legacy lives on through each and everyone who knew him.  If you knew him, you would never forget him.  He made his mark on this world.

He is preceded in death by his father, Herman Brandon; his mother, Sarah Ott ; his brother, Dale Brandon; his grandmother Lorene Ott ; his grandfather, Joseph Ott ; His Uncle Larry and Buddy Ott , His Aunt Jewel Tibbets and Levera Kennedy; and his son Randy.
