Obituary

Terri Yvonne Jones, age 55, was welcomed into the arms of the Lord and Savior far too soon on Tuesday, November 19, 2019. Terri was born on November 29, 1963 in Kansas City, Kansas. She moved to Houston, Texas with her family in 1974, and graduated from Spring Woods High School in 1982. She received her Associates Degree in Communications from Central Texas College in 1987. Terri started her career as a news broadcaster and On-Air talent with KTON AM and Q106 in Central Texas followed by radio shows with Arrow 93.7, K-Lite, Mix 96.5, and 104.1 KRBE in Houston, Texas. Terri achieved her greatest career moment managing her son as Nicky Jones in movie and cartoon voice over productions.

On June 4, 1983, Terri married Dallas and followed him through his military career and separation in 1988. In 1990, they return home to Houston, and Peyton was born shortly after in 1992.  Nicholas followed in 1996.
Terri was proceeded in death by her mother, Shirley Sharron, and step-father, Robert Sharron.
Terri is survived by her husband, Dallas Leigh Jones, sons, Peyton Taylor Jones and Nicholas Payne Jones, father, Alan Martin Cannon, brother, Larry Alan Cannon, sister, Cynthia Renee Tipton and many additional loving members of her family.
The family will receive family and friends for visitation Tuesday, November 26, 2019 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Klein Funeral Home at 9719 Wortham Blvd. Houston, Texas 77065. We will celebrate Terri, by wearing pink, on Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at 2:00 PM  at the same location.

In Lieu of the typical reception after the service it would be our fervent wish for all those attending to be able to return to preparation for each ones Thanksgiving Dinner. And with this in mind we will be donating to the Katy Christian Ministries and specifically "A Turkey for Every Table"for the less fortunate at KTCM.org . We hope you will consider doing so, as well.
