TERRY HENSHAW

Terry was born February 28, 1935 in Lake Charles, Louisiana. He attended Pasadena High School, Rice University and The University of Houston. After his education, he held sales and engineering positions

with Ingersoll-Rand and Union Pump and was a Consulting Engineer from 1985 until his death.

He played the clarinet in school bands and orchestras, as well as the Post Band in Battle Creek, MI. He was a sailing enthusiast, winning many Rhodes Bantam regattas. He loved gardening and you could often find him tending to his garden.

Terry married his high school sweetheart, Sandra (Sandy) Smith on in September of 1955.

Terry was transferred by Union Pump to Battle Creek in August 1968 where he and his family of two sons, Mark and Chris, lived until August 1998. He and his wife moved to Stagecoach, TX where they lived until his death. His beloved grandson , Joshua  was born into the family.

Wrote two books and many magazine articles on his specialty—reciprocating pumps
