Terra L. Favro, originally of Tomball, TX was born on July 14, 1971 and passed away in Kingwood, TX on May 12, 2020 at the age of 48 years old. She was greeted in heaven with open arms by her Gramps and Grandmother, their "Dollie", two people she loved dearly. She graduated from Tomball High School in May, 1989, and attended Southwest Texas for several years where she was on the Strutters Dance team, loving every minute of her college experience. She then transferred to UT Dallas to continue her studies. However, she moved back to the Houston area before she finished. She finished her degree several years later with a Bachelor of Arts in Literary Studies from UT Dallas.
Terra was a beautiful spirit with an outgoing personality. She loved people and spending time with her friends and family. Everyone that met her loved her back. She loved taking in a concert or two whenever she could with special friends. She was a loving daughter, sister, niece, aunt and friend to many people. She will be remembered as an energetic and loving person, and especially had a tender heart when it came to kitty cats. She was always picking up strays and finding them homes, or adopting them herself. Her four furr-babies will miss her love and attention. She especially enjoyed the annual camp-outs during New Year's Eve celebrations at the farm. She would jump thru hoops to not miss one of those.
These last eight years, she's been working as Asst Distributor for the Houston Chronicle, taking over from her dad in the Kingwood/Porter area, handling a large area all the way up to Nacogdoches. She loved her job and loved working with the carriers (who all loved her too) and handling all the customer service issues that came with the job (even the grumbly customers). She cherished the huge amount of time spent talking over Chronicle issues with her Dad. They were two peas in a pod when it came to that.
Terra is survived by her parents, Terry & Carole Favro, her brother Travis Favro, her favorite niece Taylor Favro, and her very special aunt, Dianne Favro, who treated her as her own daughter.
Arrangements are being handled by Klein Funeral Home in Tomball, TX (kleinfh.com). A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2020 at 2:00 pm at Northwest Church of Christ, 6720 W. Tidwell Rd, Houston TX 77092. In lieu of flowers, Terra would be honored with a contribution to His Father's Heart Ministries in Houston, TX (hisfathersheart.org).
