Teresa Rodgerson, born on September 27th 1960, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, joy, and warmth. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, and friend who touched the hearts of everyone she met.
Teresa was raised in Magnolia, Texas, where she spent her formative years surrounded by the beauty of nature and the tight-knit community she cherished. The day she graduated high school, she married James Rodgerson, and together they spent almost 46 years building a life filled with love and laughter. Teresa was a devoted mother to her two sons, Jarrod and Nathan who were the light of her life. She spent the past almost five years being the best Ginny/Gigi to Quinn, Duncan, and Woody, whom she adored beyond measure. She was eagerly awaiting the arrival of her granddaughter, Delilah.
Teresa had an undeniable passion for her dogs that radiated in every aspect of her life. For her, they weren't just pets—they were family. She had a green thumb and created beautiful gardens that reflected her nurturing spirit. She loved to cook and experiment with new recipes and she loved to host and plan parties, showers, and holiday get togethers for her loved ones. She loved to decorate and celebrate holidays with family and Christmas was the highlight of her year where she created magic for those she loved. She spent her early career days in the travel industry and was able to travel around the world. She enjoyed taking cruises with her family and friends. She loved a good ladies lunch to catch up with her many friends. Gift giving was her love language and she never forgot a birthday or special milestone for her friends and family as she loved to make her people feel special. She was a Bravo enthusiast and always enjoyed a salty snack or Yasso while she watched her shows.
Her biggest passion was taking care of her grandchildren. If her boys ever needed an extra pair of hands, she was always a person they could count on. She loved helping and being needed by her family and loved nothing more than making her grand babies feel special. They each loved her so much and her memory and cherished traditions will live on through them.
She is survived by her husband, James Rodgerson; her sons, Jarrod (Catherine) and Nathan (Gabriella) Rodgerson; her grandchildren, Woody (4), Quinn (4) Duncan (2), and Delilah, her father Donald Jackson, and many other family members and friends who will miss her deeply.
A service will be held to honor her life, and the family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Lone Star Dog Ranch or any dog shelter in her memory.
Rest in peace, Terrye/Mom/Ginny/Gigi. You were so very loved and will never be forgotten.
