Teresa Rose McLaughlin, 64, passed from this life Monday, September 11, 2023 in Houston, Texas. She was born July 29, 1959 to the late John and Barbara McLaughlin in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

She is survived by siblings, Archbishop Andrew Maklakov (AKA Mike McLaughlin), Tim McLaughlin, Chris Haney (Steve), Marybeth Mathias (Syd), many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by father, John L. McLaughlin, Mother, Barbara J. McLaughlin, Brother, Paul A. McLaughlin

Terri graduated from Northrop High School, class of 1977. She went on to work for various companies including Hooks Drug Store, American Greetings, Lake End Sales, AMA, and Food Marketing/SuperValu. While at SuperValu she went back to school to study Speech Pathology and Audiology, graduating from Purdue University with a Bachelor's degree in May of 2001, and then with her Master of Science degree in December 2003.

She worked for NSSED in Highland Park, Illinois before moving to Texas where she worked for Klein Independent School District, then for Humble Independent School District, where she was currently the Assistive Technology Coordinator.

She loved spending time with her family, her weekly card night with her sister Chris, and caring for her puppy dog Sofie.

A visitation will be held Friday, September 15, 2023 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Klein Funeral Home-Champions Forest.

Burial will be held at a later date in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
