Obituary

Ted Isaac Desormeaux, lovingly known as Isaac, age 40, of Cypress, Texas, passed away on January 11, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by love.

Isaac was known for his humor and playful spirit. He was always joking, making goofy faces, and finding ways to make others laugh, even in the hardest moments. His laughter and lightheartedness were a gift to everyone who knew him.

Above all, Isaac was a devoted husband and father. He is survived by his wife, Paige Desormeaux, and their beloved children, Lillian, Harper, and Keiran, who were the center of his world. His love for his family was steady, fierce, and unwavering.

He is also survived by his mother, Valores Scaramozi, and stepfather, David Scaramozi; his father, Ted Desormeaux, and stepmother, Brenda Desormeaux; his brother, Chris Desormeaux; and his sister, Jeannette Rule. He is lovingly remembered by his Uncle Ron Desormeaux and Aunt Kayley Desormeaux; his Aunt Pamela Brown and Uncle Paul Brown; Aunt Nancy Allen; cousins Lauren Brown, Perry Brown, Jacob Brown, and Chance Allen; nieces Lacey Desormeaux, Callie Desormeaux, Jeelyn Querida Reyes, Ferryn Desormeaux, Christina Fackler, Savannah Fackler, and nephew Nick Fackler; and his grandmother, Shirley McCormick.

Isaac was preceded in death by his grandparents Dale Allen, Don McCormick, Gerald Desormeaux, and Miriam Desormeaux; his uncles Tim Allen and Gary Allen; his aunt Jennifer Jones and uncle Terry Jones; and his mother-in-law, Rosie Conley.

Isaac had a deep love for tabletop gaming, especially Warhammer, and enjoyed collecting comics and playing PC games. These hobbies brought him joy and connection with friends and family, and reflected his creative, imaginative spirit.

Isaac's strength, resilience, and sense of humor left a lasting impression on all who knew him. Though his time here was far too short, his impact was immeasurable, and his memory will live on through the love he gave and the laughter he shared.

A memorial service will be held on January 24, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Klein Funeral Home, 9719 Wortham Blvd, Houston, TX 77065. Family and friends are invited to attend and celebrate Isaac's life.
