Obituary

Tanya Orr Wiggins passed away August 7, 2016, in Houston, Texas. Tanya was born in Houston, Texas, on October 21, 1960. Her parents are Jim and Retta Orr. As a child, she lived in Houston and later moved to Palestine with her husband, Dwayne, whom she married on August 5, 1977. Her philosophy was to always work jobs that she loved, which she followed each day. She spent many years as a floral designer in Palestine and Houston. Later, working at Tea for Two and James Avery proved to also be very fulfilling. Most recently she landed her "dream job" working at Texas Pipe and Supply for almost two years. Tanya loved spending time decorating her new home, baking, and working with flowers. Her ultimate joy was spending time with her seven grandchildren and entertaining family and friends. She loved sitting on the back porch drinking coffee and reading a book with Dwayne. They loved going on dates and spending every moment they could together.

Tanya is survived by her loving husband, Dwayne; son, Christopher and wife Jenni of Austin, Texas; son, Micah and wife Kathleen of Houston, Texas; daughter, Leah and husband Steven of Cypress, Texas; grandchildren, Jonathon, Emily, Joshua, Gabriel, Sophia, Lijah, and Levin; brother, Chad Orr of Bullard, Texas; parents, Jim and Retta Orr of Palestine, Texas; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Eddie and Louise Wiggins of Houston, Texas; and many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Tanya was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Kari Wiggins; sister, Seanelle Dice; brother, Brent Orr; grandparents, Homer and Verna Miller, Margaret Reese, and Roy Orr.
