Tami Ann Henderson (Esken) passed away peacefully at her home in Conroe, Texas on Tuesday, May 2, 2023 surrounded by her family after a three-year-long battle with ALS.

Tami was born on February 19, 1961 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and was raised by her loving parents George Esken and Dorothy Marie Esken (Crivella) alongside two loving sisters (Sondra and Georgia) and brother (Dennis). Sadly, she lost her father at the age of 7. She graduated from Bishop Boyle High School in Munhall, PA and graduated with an associate's degree in both Business and Secretarial Sciences from Robert Morris University.

She met her future husband Jody in 1978, and they were married on September 17, 1988 in Mount Lebanon, PA. She had her first child, Zachary, who was born April 19, 1989 in Mayfield Heights, OH. She moved with her husband and son to Houston, TX in 1993. During her time in Houston, she worked many years for McKinsey & Co. as a Senior Executive Assistant. She also had a daughter, Sydney, who was born on March 18, 1998.

During her life, Tami enjoyed vacationing and going to the beach. She was a caring wife and mother who always put family, friends, and work colleagues ahead of herself. She had a benevolent, kind, and passionate spirit, always on the go, and making sure everyone and everything was always taken care of.

She was preceded in death by her father, George (1968) and mother, Dorothy (2000). She is survived by her husband Jody of Conroe, TX, daughter Sydney of Conroe, TX, and son Dr. Zachary Henderson and his fiancée Manara Jalil of New York, NY. She is also survived by her sister Sondra Peretin (Esken), brother-in-law John Peretin of Munhall, PA, and nephew Jarett Peretin of Mount Oliver, PA, sister Georgia Moore (Esken), brother-in-law Danny Moore of West Homestead, PA, and nieces Julie DiMarco (Moore) of West Mifflin, PA and Erin Kuney (Moore) of Munhall, PA, and brother Dennis Esken and sister-in-law Judy Esken (Coyne) of Venice, FL.
