Tamara Lynn Matzke Zellar, 43, of Tomball, passed away September 16, 2017. She was born April 26, 1974, in Syracuse, NY to Otto Matzke Jr. and Patricia Turner Matzke.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Zellar; sons, Joshua and Brayden; parents, Otto and Patricia Matzke; sister, Jaime Matzke Blakes; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Tammi grew up in Phoenix, NY, where she met Rob in the high school band.  She graduated salutatorian of the Class of 1992, then attended LeMoyne College, where she received her degree in Business Administration.

Shortly after graduation, Tammi married the love of her life Rob, then moved to Texas.  In the years to come, she was blessed with the births of Joshua and Brayden to complete their family.

Tammi was a true servant to all she came in contact with.  She worked in inside sales for E-Linear and Computer-Tech for 9 years prior to becoming a stay-at-home mom.

She was an integral member of the Schultz Elementary PTO, serving as president for the last 8 years.  In addition, she wore many hats serving Pack 3461 and Troop 1323 and the rest of the scouting community.  She was an enthusiastic supporter of Rob and the boys and all of their activities.

She has left an indelible mark on the lives of her husband, children, family and community that has changed and will continue to change the world in a positive and loving way.

The family will receive visitors Friday, September 22nd from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at Klein Funeral Home, Tomball.  Funeral services will be Saturday, September 23rd at 1:00 PM at The Way Church, 24418 I45, Spring, TX 77386.  Interment will follow in Klein Memorial Park, FM 2920.
