Syble M. Parma passed away on May 29, 2020 in Houston, Texas. She was born on December 8, 1944 in Orange, Texas to Clifton and Elvie McCollum. Shortly thereafter moved to Ferriday, LA and attended school in Ferriday ISD. She moved to Houston after graduation from Ferriday High School and went to work as a secretary in Houston, Texas. She met and married Stanley F. Parma on June 5, 1971. Syble was a longtime member of Holy Covenant United Methodist Church in Katy. She was also a member and involved with Young at Heart Club and Faith Builders Sunday School Class. She was a loving wife and mother and will be greatly missed by her family and many friends.

She is survived by her husband Stanley F. Parma and 2 sons, Joseph Parma (Karen) and Jeffrey Parma (Erin); 4 grandchildren, Emily, Jeniffer, Jeremy and Julia Parma; brother, Ray McCollum (Ramona); brother-in-law, Bernie Parma, and niece, Cyndi.

Syble was preceded in death by her parents, Clifton and Elvie McCollum; brothers, Huey, Wallace and Woody McCollum.

A visitation and service will be held by invitation only at the Klein Funeral Home, 9719 Wortham Blvd. Houston, TX 77065.

Burial will be held at the Klein Memorial Park, 14711 Cypress North Houston, Cypress, TX 77429
