Suseela Saraswati Sekharan, 77, of Maliakal Madom, passed away on June 10, 2024.  Suseela was born on October 26, 1946 to Vasudevan Unni and Saraswati Amma in Vayalar, India.

In 1967, Suseela met and married Dr. Karuthethil K. Sekharan, eventually moving to the United States in 1971. Suseela and Dr. Sekharan went on to have 2 children, Madhu and Sudhir.  Suseela was a lifelong caretaker. She continuously supported her family in India, along with her
immediate family in Houston. She worked as a babysitter, as a summer camp counselor for the Fairfield Athletic Club, and in banking customer service. She loved entertaining, traveling, reading, attending cultural events, visiting the temple, and spending time with her beloved
family.

Suseela was predeceased by her parents and her husband. She is survived by her sons, Madhu and Sudhir, her daughter-in-law, Sreedevi, and her four grandchildren, Lakshmi, Krishna, Arjun, and Meenakshi.

Funeral services will be held at Klein Funeral Home-Cy Fair on June 16, 2024. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Houston's Sri Guruvayurappan Temple (https://www.guruvayur.us), the Hindu temple close to Suseela's heart
