Susan Taylor, age 56 went to be with the Lord and Savior on October 18 ^th , 2018 after putting up a 7 year fight against the horrible disease of Alzheimer's/Dementia. Susan wasn't the type of woman to back down from any fight. She wanted to make it known that she wouldn't give up and that she had God on her side no matter what.

Susan is survived by her loving husband Gary Taylor, mother Billie Sue Koss, Sister Karen Moreau and Brother Charles Koss Jr. Also by her children Jordan Frazier, Megan Hall and son Adam Frazier. She has 3 grandchildren Caise and Maven Frazier, and Olive Hall with two additional blessings on the way. She is preceded in death by her father Charles Koss.

Susan was born on May 30 ^th 1962 in Houston, TX, to parents Charles and Billie Sue Koss. She graduated from Spring Woods High School in 1980.

Susan was an amazing family person and a loving and devoted mother and wife. She loved her kids more than anything. No matter what event was going on, she was there. Whether it was a play, a football or baseball game; she was there. She proved that you don't need much to get by but family, and she instilled that value in her children. She met Gary at a Christmas party in 1997 and knew that he was the one for her. They married in 1998 and have been devoted to each other ever since. Susan loved her family and did anything and everything that she could to make them happy. She was a very motivated person; if she wanted to do something, then she set out to do it and didn't let anything get in her way.

Susan worked as a dental assistant her whole life. When she wasn't assisting patients, she enjoyed making all different sorts of sweets from cookies to cakes. When cakes weren't on her mind she was learning how to make different sorts of stained glass creations with the Angel House. One of her favorite hobbies, was riding her motorcycle. She loved riding her bike on the long empty roads with the beautiful scenery that God created. When she wasn't in the kitchen baking or on her bike letting the wind blow through her hair, she was in church. The church was her second home. A place where God allowed her to grow as an individual, a mother, sister, daughter, friend and wife. God put it in her heart that she touch as many people as she possibly could; by song with the choir or at home (her voice was beautiful), by witnessing the Lords word to everyone that would listen, to riding with the UMME motorcycle group through the church and by leading with Kairos Outside Ministry. Susan had such an inspirational mindset, that she wanted to be as creative as God allowed her to be. She didn't see things in life as useless, but saw a treasure in everything. The smallest thing that one person would want to trash, she would want to make it into something beautiful. She had an amazing personality where she saw the good in everything and everyone. She wanted to make it known that God was in charge and had a plan for everything no matter what it was.

Susan was a strong, faithful, prayerful, miracle worker that loved to help in any way she could. She will never be forgotten, but loved for always.

A memorial service is scheduled for November 1 ^st , 2018, at Cypress United Methodist Church, 13403 Cypress North Houston Road Cypress, Texas 77429 at 2:00 pm, with a reception to follow.
All are welcome to attend and celebrate Susan's life. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to Kairos Outside Ministry or the Angel House.

****I understand that her passing is shocking, but don't be angry with God. There is a reason why for everything that he does, we may not see it, but it is there. I feel like it was a lesson in life. Yes, it is a hard and extremely painful lesson, but we have all learned something. We have learned that one person has made such an impact on life, that it is unreal. This little lady proved that so much could be done and still put up a fight. She showed love and support all while her own life was crumbling underneath her. The big thing though, is that she trusted God and everything that he did for her and everyone around her. So, don't be mad. She isn't.****
