Born on July 26, 1979, in Houston, TX, she has joined our Heavenly Father and her brothers, Chris Soorami and Sean Soorami. Susan is the daughter of Catherine Soorami and Bizhan Soorami and a devoted mother to her daughter, Rayven Martin, and her son-in-law, Martin Cerna.

Susan had a long and fulfilling career in the medical field as a medical assistant, where her passion for helping people continued to grow. She was known for her compassionate nature and dedication, making a lasting impact on those she cared for.

With a great sense of humor, Susan loved to have fun with her family. Her big smile lit up the room whenever her loved ones entered. She was kind-hearted and would do anything to help others. Susan will be remembered as a brave and fierce fighter who battled breast cancer for six years with incredible strength.
