Susan R. Kirkland, age 58, of Conroe, passed away on August 1st. She was born on December 18th, 1966, in Houston, Texas to the late Earl Alton Morgan and Sylvia Jean (Golden) Morgan.

She is survived by her husband, Troy Kirkland; son, Lance Moore; daughter-in-law, Rayeann Moore; granddaughter, Remi Moore; sister, Debbie Huang; brother-in-law, Andrew Huang; nieces, Haley Huang and Megan Huang; brother, Robert Bienvenu; sister-in-law, Suzette Bienvenu; father-in-law, Wayne Kirkland; mother-in-law, Patricia Kirkland; sister-in-law, Vicki Koenig; brother-in-law, John Koenig; niece, Alexis Byers.

Susan touched the lives of many with her kindness, generosity, and radiant smile. From an early age, she faced significant health challenges, yet met each one with extraordinary strength and determination. Her ability to persevere, no matter the circumstance, inspired all who knew her. She welcomed everyone as a friend, and her warmth left a lasting impression on those she met.

Her greatest joy was her family. She treasured time spent with her granddaughter, Remi, and her nieces, Haley and Megan, and was a constant source of encouragement and love. Whether attending a school performance, cheering from the sidelines, or celebrating milestones big and small, she always made the effort to be present. She had a way of turning everyday moments into cherished memories.

Susan's life was a testament to resilience, love, and devotion. She will be remembered not only for the challenges she overcame, but for the joy she brought and the care she showed to others.

A celebration of Susan's life will be held on Saturday, August 30th at 1:00 pm at Messiah Lutheran Church, 11522 Telge Rd, Cypress, TX 77429.
