Obituary

Suella was born Suella Rust the second of 5 children on March 12,1921 to Joe and Alta (Vaughan) Rust from Crosby, Texas and passed away peacefully on February 14, 2021, just four weeks short of her 100th birthday. She had fond memories of living just outside of downtown Houston, next door to the Phoenix Dairy, always seeing the horse drawn milk wagon go by their house. They soon moved to the newly developed Heights just west of downtown where she attended Harvard elementary school.  She always liked to say that she went to Harvard. It was at Reagan High School, while being a member of the Reagan Redcoats drill team, that she met her lifelong husband Clarence Kaiser, and married on August 9, 1941.   She loved to sew, cook and entertain.  She was a fabulous party planner and hostess to the many parties she and Clarence gave. Suella loved to travel . She was always sharing her travel experiences with everyone she met elaborating on her favorites Maui, Hawaii and Sitka, Alaska .    Suella is survived by her children Judy Gold, Susan Bundick, Berte Hogue, Mimi (Alan) Hildebrandt, and Hank (Denise) Kaiser, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, as well as nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her sister Betty Jo Martin. Suella will be interred at a private service next to her late husband Clarence at Trinity Lutheran cemetery in Spring, Texas. Suellas last wish was that all her family wherever they are on March 12, celebrate what would have been her 100th birthday.
