Martha Sue Carroll, 90, of Matagorda-Simonton, Texas, passed away December 27th, 2023.  Sue was born January 11th, 1933, in Trenton, Texas to the late Donlin J. Bailey and Artie Leona Bailey-Westermann.

Sue was active in her church with her husband Wayne and attended many churches depending on where they were living at the time. They met in Odessa TX and were married in Lovington New Mexico on March 17, 1957. Sue enjoyed time with her family and anyone was always welcome at the dinner table. She worked various jobs as a secretary and bookkeeper throughout the years and many business's that the family engaged in through the years.

Sue is survived by her son, Mark & (Juls) Carroll, daughter Dana Carroll; grandchildren, Ryan & Tia Carroll & Kimie Lansangan, Elizabeth & Craig Reap, Alexandra Wallace, Kayleigh & Kendal Mahoney , 3 great grandchildren; sister Patty Godwin; grandson Mark & Tiffany Cely. Nieces; Gena Jongebloed, Janna Sawyer & Jackie Carlson and nephew Marty Gray and Melissa

Including her parents Sue was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Carroll; daughter, Donna Lee Carroll; sister Jo Etta Jernigan and brother John Carroll Wellborne,  niece Kathy Gray and John Jernigan

The family will receive visitors Friday, January 5th, 2024, from 9 to 10 AM at Klein Funeral Home, 1400 West Main Street Tomball, Texas 77375.  Funeral Services will follow, at 10 AM, with REV. Sonny Salas officiating.  Interment to follow in Klein Memorial Park 249 with a joint committal service for Donna Lee Carroll.

Serving as pallbearers are Marty Gray, Mark Cely, Stephen Macha, Richard Gonzales, Michael Jackson, & Cody Novosad.

Honorary pallbearers: Richard Fank, Ryan Carroll, Ronnie Belinoski, Greg Bostic, Craig Peikert & Billy Breeden.
