Stuart C. Ramsey, 67, of Houston, TX, passed away Friday, July 30, 2021.  He was born January 17, 1954 in Manhattan, Kansas, the son of Robert and Shirley Ramsey.  He graduated from Kansas State University in Manhattan, Kansas, with a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.  Stuart worked as a mechanical engineer in Omaha, Nebraska, and Houston, Texas, until his retirement.

On December 29, 1981, Stuart and Anne Ahlers were united in marriage at St. Isidore Catholic Church in Manhattan, Kansas.

Stuart took pride in his three children, their spouses, and his six grandchildren.  He was a certified scuba diver with hundreds of dives completed in favorite locations including Costa Rica, Roatan, and Cozumel.  Stuart also enjoyed coaching his children's youth sports teams throughout their childhood.  He also was an avid Kansas State Football and Houston Astros fan.

Survivors include his wife Anne Ramsey of Houston, Texas; three children and their families:  Paul (son) and Ashley Ramsey of Lafayette, Louisiana, and their children, Henry, Claire, and William; Kirk (son) and Shandi Ramsey of The Woodlands, Texas, and their children, Ryan and Vivienne; Courtney (daughter) and Lewis Hendrick of Austin, Texas, and their daughter Ramsey.  Other survivors include his sister Jami Ramsey of Manhattan, Kansas; brother David Ramsey and his wife Melanie of Manhattan, Kansas; and five nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Radley Ramsey.
