In Loving Memory of Stuart Travis Franklin

Stuart Travis Franklin, beloved father, partner, grandfather, brother, and friend, was born in Colorado Springs, Colorado, on January 17, 1957. He passed away peacefully in Cypress, Texas, on August 7, 2026.

Stuart will be remembered by the people who loved him most and whose lives he touched throughout his journey. He is preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Nola Franklin.

He leaves behind his partner, Karen Franklin; his children, Gina Bunch and her husband, Ronnie, Stephen Franklin, Shawn Franklin and her husband, Ryan Smith; his step-sons, Wayne Kleypas and his wife, Deanna, and Michael Larkin and his wife, Devyn; and his beloved grandchildren, Jase Smith, Owen Smith, Ella Smith, Andrew Bateman, Kaden Kleypas, Keira Kleypas, Zane Kleypas, Kaitlyn Larkin, Preston Larkin and Korrie Larkin. He is also survived by his brother, Marvin Franklin.

Stuart's greatest legacy is the family he leaves behind and the memories he created with those who loved him. Though he will be deeply missed, his memory will live on in the hearts of his family and all those fortunate enough to have known him.

A memorial service celebrating Stuart's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, at Klein Funeral Home, 1400 W. Main, Tomball, TX 77375.

Rest peacefully, Stuart. You will be deeply loved, deeply missed, and forever remembered.
