Steven Perry, 76, of Tomball, Texas, passed away peacefully in his home on March 20th.

Born September 5, 1950, Steven lived a life defined by courage, loyalty, humor, and an unwavering love for his family. He was funny, stubborn in the most endearing way, incredibly smart, and one of the most generous men you could ever meet. He had a way of lighting up a room and making people feel welcome, always bringing laughter and a sense of ease to those around him.

As a young man, Steven proudly served his country during the Vietnam War. Rather than waiting to be drafted, he volunteered for the United States Army, where he trained, rose through the ranks, and became a leader of men his own age. He served with the 25th Infantry Division and later with the 101st Airborne Division. During one mission, a trained German Shepherd stopped him just before he stepped on a hidden explosive—saving his life. Through the hardships of war, Steven led with strength and integrity.

Steven was also a successful businessman who carried on his father's legacy. He took over and helped lead Action Window Coverings, a business that has proudly served its community for over 50 years. Through his hard work, dedication, and leadership, he continued to build on the foundation his father, John J. Perry Sr, started, taking great pride in the work he did and the relationships he built along the way.

Steven's greatest pride, however, was the life he built with his family—especially his marriage. He met the love of his life in 1975, and from the very beginning, he knew she was the one. What set Steven apart was the way he loved—steadily, respectfully, and unconditionally. After asking for her father's blessing, they were married on June 19, 1976, beginning a partnership that would span nearly five decades. Together, they built a life rooted in love, commitment, and resilience.

He was a proud father who instilled strong values in his sons—teaching them the importance of hard work, integrity, and earning your way in life. He believed in doing things the right way, and that legacy lives on through them.

Steven loved being surrounded by his dogs, his wife, and his family—those were the moments that meant the most to him. He had a presence you could always recognize, and if you heard a cheerful "Oh baby!" or "Hot diggity dog," you knew Steven was nearby.

He found joy in life's simple pleasures. He loved to listen—really listen—whether it was to a good story, a favorite song, a ball game on the radio, or the quiet sounds of nature on a warm morning. He could sit for hours, taking it all in, appreciating the moment in a way that not many people do anymore. To him, those small, peaceful moments were some of life's greatest gifts.

He also never passed up a good meal—especially a pork chop, prepared just about any way, but always with a special love for his favorite from Perry's Steakhouse & Grille.

Steven will be remembered for his strength, his humor, and the deep love he had for his family. He lived a full life, built on hard work, loyalty, and heart, and leaves behind a legacy that will continue through all who knew and loved him.

Steven is survived by his beloved wife, Jacqueline Crespo Perry; his sons, Steven Perry and Sean Perry; his grandchildren, Matthew, Abigail, Isabela, Steven III, Kye, and Charleigh Perry; his great-grandchild, Anastasia Perry; and many more family and friends.

He will be deeply missed and forever loved.
