Steven Doyle Clanton was born in Florence, Alabama on September 29, 1951, and passed away in Tomball, Texas on September 8, 2019.

He is survived by his loving wife, Joyce Ann Clanton; his children, Angela Pollock and husband Jason, H. Jerry Elliott and wife Angela, Rodney Clanton, Teresa Ybarra and husband Jose, and Connie Rogers; his mother, Virgie Christine Clanton; brothers, Greg Clanton and wife Kristie, Michael Clanton and wife Leisha, and Brian Clanton and wife Melissa; grandchildren, Marcus Pollock, Malia Eldridge and husband Josh, Justin Magouirk, Brittany Johnston and husband Isaac, Seth Magouirk, Jacob Rogers, Kaley Rogers, Katey Rogers, and Caleb Elliott.
