Stephen H. Weinstein passed away on August 18, 2022 at the age of 65 after a brave battle with pancreatic cancer.  He was born December 17, 1956 in the Bronx, New York.  He graduated Cum Laude from the University at Albany in 1979 with a Bachelor of Science in accounting and shortly after earned his CPA.

Steve moved to Houston in 1980 to pursue a career in accounting where in his various jobs he was always highly regarded.  A few years later, he met Sherry Mullinax at Lost Forest Tennis Club and was married within two years.  Not long after that, they welcomed their amazing son, Daniel Sean into the world.

The tennis community became a big part of their lives.  Many lifelong friends were made through tennis and Lost Forest.

Steve could be very strong willed at times, but he was also funny, thoughtful and caring.  It showed in his relationship with Sherry, Sean, his brother Martin and many extended family and friends.  He loved talking about sports, politics and world events.

Steve will greatly be missed by all who were lucky enough to know him.  He is survived in death by his wife Sherry, his brother Martin, Martin's wife Fran and their daughter Rachel.

He is reunited in death with his son Sean, and his father and mother, Isidore and Ruth Weinstein.
