Stephen Benjamin Heck was born in Staten Island, New York on September 16, 1935, and passed away on July 13, 2024. Stephen loved his family and his dog Romeo. He was known for his brilliant mind in chemical engineering. Stephen was kind and unselfish, always want to spend time with his family and spare time walking his dog Romeo. He was affectionately known as Stevie, Steve, dad, papa, and big papa.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Heck, and his parents, Stephen and Ethel Heck.

Stephen is survived by his children, Terry Heck, Stephen Heck, III, Vicki King and husband Dewayne, and James Heck and wife Diana; grandchildren, Andrea VanSickle and husband Jeff, Whitney Heck, Nick Rodriguez and wife Jocie, Tyler Heck and wife Amanda, Lori Maddox and husband James, Lisa Deitrick and husband Aaron, Jessica Butler and husband Mark, Katie King, Michael King, James Heck and wife Mareesha, Stephen Heck, and Celeste Vance and husband Matt; and great-grandchildren, Kaden, Carson, River, Isabella, Julian, Olivia, Connor, Nora, Sterling, Allister, Rowan, Riley, Logan, Alice, Liam, Baby Girl Heck, Alex, and Khaia.
