Stephen was born on January 27, 1961 in Houston, Texas to parents Frank and Arlie. He passed away in the early morning of Sunday May 6, 2018.
Stephen is survived by his wife, Melissa Chase Eldridge, his two sons Micah Eldridge and Zachary Eldridge, his sister Jeanne Bagley and his three grandchildren Kaden, Mary, and Athena. He is also survived by his stepchildren James, Emily, Callie, and Jacob, and his step-grandchildren Barrett, Daniel, and Marlee.
Stephen was a geoscientist who spent much of his career working for the oil industry. His hobbies included traveling, cooking his famous BBQ sauce for family and friends, woodworking, and supporting the Houston, Astros! You were likely to find him sitting in his favorite coffee shop chatting to anyone about anything. Anything you asked of him, he was happy to do. He truly loved to help and serve others. Stephen was a member of Community of Faith Church.
