In Loving Memory of Stephen Gordon Brown
September 27, 1941 – September 1, 2026
Stephen Gordon Brown, 84, of Magnolia, Texas, passed away peacefully on September 1, 2026, surrounded by the love and memories of those who meant the most to him.
Stephen was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and proud U.S. Marine Vietnam veteran. He shared his life with his beloved wife, Karen Brown, and together they built a family filled with love, memories, and countless moments that will be treasured forever.
Stephen was a loving and dedicated father to his children, Justin Brown, Kristin Wade, Bethany Meine, his late son, Benjamin Brown, and his late daughter, Kaylee Brown. His children were incredibly important to him, and he was always there to support them. He was especially active in their sports while they were growing up, proudly cheering them on and being present for the moments that mattered.
His greatest joy was his family, and becoming a grandfather brought him a special kind of happiness. He was an amazing grandfather to Mckinzie Brown, Cody Brown, Nolan Brown, Aben Brown, Rocko Wade, Kimber Wade, Kynlie Meine, and Brynnlee Meine, and his late granddaughter, Karli Meine. His grandchildren will forever carry with them the love, memories, and lessons he gave them.
Stephen was preceded in death by his children, Benjamin Brown and Kaylee Brown, his mother, Lucille Brown, and his granddaughter, Karli Meine. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, children, grandchildren, family, and friends.
Outside of his family, Stephen enjoyed the simple things in life. He loved watching football, spending time working in the yard, mowing the grass, and tending to his garden. He found satisfaction in taking care of his home and the land around it, always keeping busy and finding something to work on.
Stephen will be remembered for his devotion to his family, his strength, his work ethic, and the love he showed to those around him. He was a man who loved his family deeply, and his presence was a steady and important part of their lives.
His family takes comfort in knowing that his love will live on through his children, grandchildren, and all of the memories they shared together.
Stephen Gordon Brown will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten. Semper Fi, Dad.
Rest peacefully. You served your country, you loved your family, and you gave us a lifetime of memories. We will love you forever.
