Stephen L. Ballard
October 8, 1951 – March 19, 2019
Stephen Lloyd Ballard, age 67, of The Woodlands, Texas, passed away on March 19 th , 2019.
He was born in the heart of Little Italy in Omaha, Nebraska to Rose (Ciciulla) and Carroll L. Ballard.
Stephen was preceded in death by his parents, Rose (Ciciulla) and Carroll L. Ballard; Godson, Jason Jeffrey Ballard; and Brother-In-Law, Steve Cottle. Stephen is survived by his wife, Terry; sons, Matthew, Christopher (Kellyn); daughter, Kristin Thompson (Rickey); four grandchildren: Avery Lightsey, Jack Wallace Frazier, Carson John and Kenna Rose Ballard, brothers Jeffrey (Catherine) Ballard, Michael (Cindy) Ballard, his other housemate Aunt Teeny and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and loving friends and co-workers. Also included is his beloved pet, Barbara Michele.
Steve was raised in Omaha Nebraska and attended Saint Francis Cabrini grade school, Omaha Central High School and the University of Nebraska. In his early
years Steve developed his love for Italian food, baseball, basketball, guitar, and writing music. He found love with Terry Jean Cottle, who would end up being the love of his life. Steve started his career as an electrical designer in engineering and most recently was a Principal Consultant atBut we all know he really was a 'rockstar'. Aveva .Steve was many things, father, grandpa, Apple computer enthusiast, musician, pool boy
and animal lover. Steve wassoft spoken , funny, gentle, loving and most importantly a great dad and grandpa. He loved his wife, kids, grandkids, family and friends, Nebraska Cornhuskers, Houston Astros, Houston Texans, Gibson guitars and cold Shiner Bock.In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations to be made to the Steve Ballard Memorial Performing Arts Scholarship Fund:
