Stephany Frances (Zievert) Pavloske, 84, of Houston, Texas, passed away February 19, 2024. She was born January 29, 1940, in Chappell Hill, Texas to Tellas C. and Nora (Wisniewski) Zievert. She attended Christ the King Catholic School, Hogg Junior High School, and Reagan Senior High School and graduated in 1958. She met her husband, Raymond W. Pavloske, at Bill Mraz Dance Hall and married the following year in Holy Matrimony at Christ the King Catholic Church in Houston, TX on September 6, 1958. She enjoyed a very happy and loving marriage for 65 years!

Stephany stayed at home to raise their family and was blessed with 3 children, Kenneth, Ronald, and Linda. She loved being a mother, grandmother and great grandmother and all her descendants meant the world to her. She attended many school functions, sporting events, gymnastic competitions, band performances, award ceremonies, and graduations. She was always in the audience as a proud grandmother offering her love and support.

Stephany was a devoted Catholic who attended mass every Sunday, and afterwards, she enjoyed spending time with family by going out to eat at her favorite restaurants. She loved playing the card game Pitch, traveling with family and friends to beautiful destinations, and especially enjoyed going to Las Vegas. Stephany loved country music, the Grand Ole Opry, and country and western dancing. The waltz was her favorite dance. Her all-time favorite singers were Kitty Wells and George Strait. She saw George Strait at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo almost every year he attended and was his biggest fan. She even had a life size cardboard cutout of George she proudly displayed! Later in life, she never missed a game with Tom Brady quarterbacking or Jose Altuve playing.

Stephany loved dogs and had many throughout the years. She spoiled each one and loved their loyalty and companionship. She will be dearly missed by her latest canine companion, Gizmo.

Stephany loved being with family and friends. She hosted numerous Superbowl and New Year's Eve parties which created many cherished unforgettable moments for all those who attended. Her favorite time of year was the holidays where she always enjoyed having her family visit and spend quality time together. These lasting memories will forever be in her heart and the heart of those who loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents Tellas and Nora Zievert, brothers Raymond, Johnnie, Stanley and Max Zievert, sisters Pauline Koteras and Regina Ognowski, and son-in-law Donald Jatzlau.

She is survived by her husband, Raymond Walter Pavloske, sons Kenneth Ray Pavloske and wife, Joy, and Ronald Dean Pavloske and wife, Terri, daughter Linda Carol Erwin and husband, Douglas, grandchildren Courtney Calhoun, Lauren Hightower (husband Corey), Cameron Pavloske (wife Alissa), Daniel Pavloske, Shawn Erwin, Morgan Pavloske, Shannon Pavloske, Ryan Erwin and Shane Erwin, great-grandchildren Lucas Hightower, Charlie Pavloske, Emerson Hightower and August Pavloske, as well as a host of extended family and lifelong friends.

The family will receive visitors Sunday, February 25, 2024, from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Klein Funeral Homes – Cy Fair, 9719 Wortham Blvd., Houston, TX 77065 with a rosary beginning at 6:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church at 10135 West Rd., Houston, TX 77064, with Rev. Lawrence Jozwiak officiating. Interment to follow at 1:30 p.m. at Forest Park Westheimer at 12800 Westheimer Rd., Houston, TX 77077.

Serving as pallbearers are Cameron Pavloske, Daniel Pavloske, Shawn Erwin, Ryan Erwin, and Shane Erwin and as honorary pallbearer Corey Hightower.

The family invites all to a luncheon after the interment at Ninfa's Mexican Restaurant at 14737 Memorial Dr., Houston, TX 77079.
