Herman Stanley "Pop's" Staehle

Herman Stanley Staehle, loving husband of 56 years to his wife, Nancy, proud father, and beloved grandfather, passed away on November 11, 2021 at the age of 79.

Stan was born January 1, 1942, in Houston, TX to the late Herman and Edna Staehle.  He graduated from Tomball High School in 1961 and was a college graduate of Sam Houston State University.  He and his wife Nancy were married at Zion Lutheran Church in Tomball, TX on August 28, 1965.  They are the parents to three daughters and four grandchildren.

Stan was a loving, kind, devoted son, husband, father, grandfather, and friend to many throughout his life.  He had the kindest heart and showed unconditional love to everyone.  He did not hide his love for God and shared his faith daily.  His positivity was loved by all who knew him, and he had the best jokes around.  Pop's spent his retirement years making memories with his grandchildren, taking them to the park, attending their sporting events and building bird houses together.  He spent his last days on this earth enjoying a vacation with family and friends until he was called home by his Heavenly Father.

Stan is preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Edna Staehle and his daughter, Rene Staehle.  He is survived by his wife, Nancy Staehle; daughter Elizabeth Wintringer and husband Loren; daughter Vicki Sandel; grandchildren, Nathan and Ryan Porter and Brynnlee and Hunter Sandel; brother-in-law and wife, Benjamin, and Jeannette Hoyt.
